Citra Bangsa (Laughter)UCB) Kupang Return to emergency first aid training in water.

This field practice activity was done working with the Rescuers of the Class A SAR Office

Kupang At Tirto Segoro 07, Nitneo Village, on Tuesday (3 / 11 / 2026) and Wednesday (4 / 11 / 2026).

For the last session Thursday (5 / 11 / 2026) held training evacuation techniques and integrated field simulations at the Class A SAR Office

Kupang.

UCBMr. Ns, Isha L. Muskananfola, confirmed the execution of the event when confirmed yesterday.

Ms. Isha explained that this training was designed to supply students with an emergency handling technical skill, especially for victims suffering from emergency conditions in the water.

"The activity in this pond lasted for two days, involving two student classes. The main focus is to train student prep in the face of water emergency situations," Isha.

A given series of materials includes basic life-support training, rescue techniques in the water, as well as advanced evacuation and rescue techniques.

In addition, students also have special swimming training sessions and simulations of water protection as well as life jackets.

Even though some of the students are still in the adjustment stage and need a strict escort, considering only a few are good at swimming. This intensive exercise runs smoothly under direct surveillance of the SAR office relay team.

Kupang, I Made Junetra, S.H., M.M., say, this training was designed to build synergy between medical abilities of nursing with field rescue techniques in disaster handling.

Junetra explains that the training followed by a total of 255 participants divided into four stages of execution, where each group consists of about 60 students.

"The nursing student has a very good theory and medical understanding. Through this collaboration, we combine those medical skills with field engineering that the Basarnas have," say Junetra.

In this activity, according to Junetra students get direct materials and practices guided by the Rescuer instructor Basarnas

Kupang. Designation includes rescue techniques at altitude (rappelling), handling injuries on cliff evacuation activities, to the emergency treatment of victims in the water.

Junetra, the importance of collaboration and division of clear roles in the field is that people's relief process is effective without overlapping handling.

"When there's a disaster, this synergy is crucial. Rescue and medical personnel must run in tune. We provide them so that when they arrive at the bottom or the evacuation site, the emergency measures and the injury assessments can be performed quickly and precisely," obviously Junetra.

The training sequence for each group will end with an integrated field simulation. In these simulations, students are charged with applying a combination of nursing science that was obtained in college with Basarnas evacuation techniques.

Well, through this simulation, we want to see how much matter can be absorbed and combined. Hopefully, when they're in the field someday, they're ready to provide the best service to society in case of emergency or disaster, "Junetra says.

For all we know, the duration of the training time that student Prodi Care Fikes followed

UCB Kupang For four days on Monday (2 / 11 / 2026) until Thursday (5 / 11 / 2026). (*)
